The course of studies Transport Engineering / Logistics has existed since 1976 at the Bremerhaven University of Applied Sciences (Hochschule Bremerhaven). It is continuously adapted to the industrial requirements and uses state-of-the-art classrooms and laboratories. The combination of all these factors contribute to the attractiveness of this modern  course of studies

The course of studies “Diplom” Transport Engineering / Logistics (formerly Transport Engineering) was established in 1976 and was offered for the last time in the Winter Semester 2005/06. The graduation can be achieved after 8 semesters with the degree  „Diplom-Wirtschaftsingenieur (FH)“. Approximately 2500 graduates have graduated and found employment in the industry so far.

The first two semesters focus on the basics of logistics. Deeper insight into logistics processes is the subject of the following semesters. In the last semester (6th) students get the opportunity to  participate in industrial placements. Alternatively the students can participate in a practical project at the university.
